The Snowmustang arrives

The auction at the Royal Pirate Stables had caught Samantha's interest. After getting to know the wonderful little colt, she just had to try for him. But then, on the same day, the reason, why she actually came to the RPS, arrived with several trailers. In one of the last of them, there was him, the first pure Snowmustang of the Halfmoon-Stables. She waited till they brought him out, then she went to the new stallion.
He was awesome. His coat, his shape, everything just looked beautiful. When she reached for his neck to stroke it, the dark stallion tensed, a few seconds later he flattened his ears. That was definitely a horse, that knew, what it wanted. And at the moment it didn't want any people around.
In his eyes she saw intelligence and determination. They always looked for horses with a strong character.
„C'mon dear, I don't want to harm you...“, she said softly and quietly.
Samantha didn't want to drive home, until the stallion calmed down a little. With a halter and lead rope she went to the meadow and sat down on one of the feeders. All of the time the stallion was alert.
During the day, Samantha talked a lot to the horse. She called him 'Nivis', which meant 'Snow' in latin and decided, that this would be a pretty good name for him, as he acted as cool as the winter itself.
It took a while, but finally he shook his big head and came closer, with his warm nose he touched the pocket of her sweater – which was indeed pretty thin, hopefully she wouldn't get a cold.
„You look for the carrots?“, she asked and took them out of the pocket on the other side, smiling, when he began to chew the treats. It was amazing to see him melt a little.

The way home was exhausting, but there wasn't a possibility to stay for a while, because there were a lot of things to do at home. Victor sat himself on all the bookkeeping and had to coordinate the stable lads and riding lessons all alone. And still there was the competition, which had to be organised.
When the Touareq drove through the gate, Victor already awaited his wife and welcomed her with a hug and a kiss. Instead of going to bed, Samantha decided to have a walk with Nivis, he seemed, as if he needed some movement after the long journey from Hungary to Bavaria. Although she really liked the trip, Sam was pretty happy about the weather here, wearing a t-shirt wasn't a problem at all.

We got our Snowmustang! I'm SO happy with the design and the personality *abosz007 gave him He's wonderful!
I guess it will be a lot of work to train him, but he's still pretty young and I guess, once he understands, that none wants to hurt him, he will be a perfect horse! And - well, we've got Mitternacht and Sommernachtstraum... we WILL manage a wild Snowmustang xD

Character:
Nivis is a very intelligent, smart guy, that knows exactly what he wants and how he might get it. He seems to be very proud and doesn't like other horses much. Usually he's got problems with crowds, fast movements and dogs. Nivis might have been a leader of a herd once, because he often acts pretty self-confident, even in situations, when every other horse would run and hide, he flattens his ears and snaps against the potential enemy.
Sometimes Nivis may appear a bit aggressive, but we do our best, to train him in good behaviour. We will not allow breedings, until his mind cooled down a little.
