So, first of all - no fancy Journal Skin anymore. My Sub ran out and I'm not paying twice as much to stay a Premium Member.

During the last months, a lot of things changed for me.

So, I finished my law studies in january and I was quite content with my results, even though I was really afraid I might have failed. Final exams were the horror and me and my friends had a troublesome time right before, while and even after writing them. But it's all over now and I moved from Leipzig to Dresden, where I started my Legal Clerkship in may.
From this time, I've been very busy working and studying, because basically, it's like a practical training after years of theoretical studies and most of the things you had to learn for your final exams aren't even important anymore. On the other hand, you have to learn a completely different way of solving cases.
My judge, who is my instructor, is really nice and funny. I can relate to a lot of things he does and says, though sometimes when working on files, we come to different results. I'm sitting next to him in trials and write judgments.

It is a wonderful feeling being paid for what you do. During my studies, I didn't have time to work and now we're paid for our work during the clerkship. This weekend, I'm going on holiday to Venice and this is the first real Holiday I could completely pay myself, which makes me so proud and this holiday something special. I'm flying on saturday with my mom and we'll stay in a small hotel on the island till tuesday.

Also, about a month ago, I bought my second snake! He's a baby Boa Constrictor Imperator and his name is Freitag. I usually give my pets names from the regions they come from, which is why Shakir got a name from Central Africa. I had some trouble finding a name for the baby, because B.C.I. come from the Caribbean and Central America, so I was looking through Caribbean, Spanish and South American names. Long story short, I couldn't find one that I liked enough.
This was, until a friend of mine told me, I could name him Freitag, Friday in english, after Robinson Crusoes companion. The story is set on a Caribbean Island and Freitag is also new to the 'modern world'. On a side note: Everyone loves friday! xD
Baby Freitag is an amazing little Boa. I am used to Shakir, who is nice and gentle, he can be touched without him freaking out, but also without getting too curious. He's... settled. But he's also a picky eater, which is common with Ball Pythons. Sometimes he won't eat for no reason at all.
Freitag is the complete opposite. Though he's not used to being handled, he is super curious and explores everything in reach, when out of his enclosure. He also eats everything that's warm and wiggles. We tried mice, baby rats, live-feeding, frozen, he doesn't care. Sometimes I wonder, if he'd even eat a chicken nugget, if you wiggled it in front of his nose. He probably would. Seriously, he's an eating machine! xD

I'm packing for the weekend now. On Saturday, we have to start very early to come to the airport in time, since we took an early flight to have a whole day more to explore Venice <3
